Founder of Sykamore Soul
Hey everyone, I’m Ayyub Liggans. I created Sykamore Soul from a seed of purpose! A space where nature’s wisdom, holistic healing, and self-sufficiency grow side by side. What began in 2019 as a personal path to reconnect with the Earth has now blossomed into a shared movement of healing, education, and land stewardship.
In 2021, Sykamore Soul found its voice, and by 2024, it found its hands in the soil of the community. Through regenerative garden building, herbal teas, and our mobile refillery, I’m on a mission to empower people of all ages to reconnect with the land and themselves. Whether we’re planting seeds in raised beds or sowing seeds of knowledge in minds, Sykamore Soul is here to empower you to live sustainably. One step at a time!
Roo the Rabbit
Hello, dear friends. I’m Roo, and I’m more than just a rabbit with a teacup. I’m your guide through the garden, your whisper of slow moments, and your companion in this rooted life. You’ll find me sowing seeds with young stewards, tucking herbs into tea blends, or quietly listening as bees hum through pollinator beds.
Whether I’m helping build garden beds or educating minds around the garden, I move at the rhythm of the Earth:
never rushed, always rooted.
I carry more than a satchel of herbs, I carry stories, natural wisdom, and countless treasures I have found along my jounrney. From garden paths to balconies, I help folks of all ages reconnect with nature at their own pace and with purpose.
I’m not just a mascot! I’m the heart of Sykamore Soul.

From herbal blends and our mobile refillery to hands-in-the-soil garden builds, everything we offer is crafted to nurture self-sufficency and food security .

Why I Do This

As a father, regenerative gardner, and nature-based educator, I believe healing starts with our roots both personal and ecological. I’ve seen how a handful of soil can teach responsibility. How a seedling can spark hope in a classroom. And how a warm cup of herbal tea can open space for reflection.
This work is my way of weaving purpose into practice. Whether I’m building garden beds, blending herbs by hand, or delivering eco-friendly house products, I’m here to make wellness approachable, rooted, and real.
Because when we slow down and grow in rhythm with nature, we remember who we are.
